Lifting the Sound of Heaven: The Heart of Our Music Ministry At Tanglewood Church, our music ministry is far more than songs and melodies; it is a vital instrument of worship and warfare. We believe that praise ushers in the very presence of God, preparing the hearts of His people to receive His Word. It is a sacred calling to lead the family of God into His courts with thanksgiving and praise (Psalm 100:4). Our Praise Team and choir are not just performers; they are worshipers first. Their goal is to create a gateway for the congregation to encounter the Holy Spirit, to exalt the name of Jesus, and to minister to the Lord with a sacrifice of praise. It is a beautiful and powerful work that requires dedication, unity, and a heart attuned to God's Spirit. An Invitation to Serve and Grow: The enemy fights the loudest when God is praised the most. If you have a heart for worship and a gift in music or song, we believe the Lord may be calling you to this vital ministry. We are seeking those who desire to use their talents not for performance, but for His glory. To better serve the church and hone our gifts as one voice, our Praise Team practice is held every second and fourth Sunday of the month at 2:00 PM. This is a time for us to seek the Lord's direction for our services, to grow in skill and harmony, and to fellowship as a team dedicated to one purpose: magnifying Christ.
